# Official Trading Bots

Trade smarter, not harder.

O**fficial trading bots** will be developed to incentivize users to earn **points** and to increase platform liquidity. These bots allow users to contribute to the platform through different trading strategies while providing an opportunity to earn points.

The point system on the platform is based on metrics such as **trading volume, open interest, maker orders, and profitable trading performance (P\&L)**. Therefore, the bots are optimized to contribute to these metrics.

On the Zion Perp Spot DEX, **only officially provided trading bots will be available for use**. This approach helps the platform provide a **fairer, safer, and more controllable trading environment**.

#### Types of Bots

**1. Volume Bot**\
The Volume Bot implements strategies aimed at **increasing trading volume** on the platform. It encourages users to trade regularly, supporting both liquidity and platform activity. Users earn points based on the trading volume generated by this bot.

**2. Open Interest Bot**\
The Open Interest Bot focuses on strategies that **increase the size of open positions** in the market. It helps maintain more active positions, enhancing the depth of the derivatives market.

**3. Maker Bot**\
The Maker Bot provides **liquidity to the order book** by placing maker orders, helping to narrow spreads and improve market efficiency. Users earn points for contributing liquidity to the platform using this bot.

**4. P\&L Strategy Bot**\
The P\&L Bot uses more strategic trading algorithms to **optimize profitable trading performance**. It provides a system where users can earn points based on their trading results.
